Strategic heart.
Operational backbone.

I'm a builder, grower, and Certified Coach with twenty years of experience scaling HR functions across PE-backed, publicly traded, and founder-led organizations. Every organization I've joined was growing or transforming — and I've built the people infrastructure to make it sustainable. I also am a strong leader when things get hard: I left Veradigm as CHRO having advanced engagement, lowered attrition (and held it stable during the roughest stretches), and developed an A-team People function — all in the midst of Covid salary cuts, a major divestment, a regulatory investigation, a multi-year audit, a NASDAQ delisting, and five CEO transitions. That's not my specialty — it's just proof.

I'm a builder by instinct, a systems thinker by orientation, and comfortable operating globally — and every organization I've joined has grown. From Movie Trading Company and ACG Texas (where I led people integration through two major acquisitions) to the Samsung Retail division, LMR, and Allscripts/Veradigm (where M&A added thousands of associates to an already complex, multi-BU environment) — I've built the people infrastructure that lets businesses scale, not just sustain. I've built HR functions from the ground up multiple times, designed and implemented five HRIS platforms, three ATS systems, and four payroll transitions, and led a full Workday HCM rollout for 2,700 associates across the US and India — completed in 14 months. My foundation in employment law was built as a Legal Assistant at Littler Mendelson, the global employment defense firm, before I moved into HR leadership.

I bring genuine AI fluency: MIT Executive Education in AI Strategy and Product Innovation (2026), enterprise AI Steering Committee leadership, and an AI recruiting platform capstone now in pilot. I'm preparing for the AIGP (AI Governance Professional) certification.

Based in Raleigh, NC. Working nationally. Not looking for a role to grow into — looking for a role to grow from.

Executive Coaching

Coaching built for
leaders who are serious.

The best organizations in the world invest in professional coaching because it delivers concrete ROI and measurable business results. Three consecutive years of double-digit engagement improvement at Veradigm. The 2025 Perceptyx Customer EX Impact Award. An internal executive coaching program that accelerated Directors and VPs. This isn't a luxury. It's a competitive advantage.

My clients are diverse — C-suite executives, developing leaders, last-ditch efforts, and everyone in between, spanning industries and stages of career. The common thread isn't title, tenure, or industry — it's that they're all navigating a pivotal moment. And they're ready to do something about it. My style is direct, warm, and occasionally irreverent. Grounded in 20+ years of seeing what actually changes people and organizations — and what doesn't.

Coaching is a partnership. I bring powerful questions, deep business acumen, and a bias toward action. You bring honesty, commitment, and the willingness to get uncomfortable.

1

Discovery Session (60 min)

Mutual exploration of goals, styles, and fit. We only move forward if it's right for both of us.

2

Coaching Agreement

Clear terms, clear expectations. Fees, cadence, and your commitments to the process.

3

Coaching Sessions

Dedicated, distraction-free time. You bring a topic, challenge, or goal. We do the work.

4

Closing & Continuation

At the end of your contracted term, you leave with the tools and clarity to keep moving. Ad hoc support available as needed.

Focus on What's Truly Important
Coaching cuts through the noise to surface the decisions and actions that actually move you forward.
Effective Feedback & Communication
A safe, constructive forum for receiving honest feedback — and developing the communication skills to deliver it.
Driving Sustainable Results
You're not here to maintain the status quo. Coaching creates durable change — for you, your team, and your organization.
You as a Role Model
Investing in your own development signals to your team that growth is valued. It's one of the most powerful things a leader can do.

"Don't pay me if you're not planning to dig deep."

Two decades of
getting it done.

Across industries — healthcare technology, hospitality, retail, and beyond — and across every size and stage of organization, I deliver real results and grow teams. I also collaborate like it's going out of style, because the fastest way to get an organization stuck in the mud is to let silos win.

Meet the real
office leadership.

Every great leader has a support system. Mine is made up of two extraordinary canine colleagues and one indispensable human — each bringing their own irreplaceable skill set to the operation.

Iggy Bergman Hammond
Chief Comfort Officer & Certified Therapy Dog
Iggy Bergman Hammond
Iggy is a 6-year-old Dane/Poodle mix living her absolute best life as Lisa's sidekick and working therapy dog. Her specialty? Kids. Whether sitting in on reading sessions or showing up for learning opportunities, she brings a calm, joyful presence that's hard to match. Her quirky face and enviable hair draw attention everywhere she goes, and her virtual meeting appearances are known to instantly improve the mood of any call. She does tricks, naps enthusiastically, and manages her brother Newman with quiet but firm authority. A true leader.
Newman
Director of First Impressions & Therapy Dog in Training
Newman
Newman is a Blue Great Dane rescued by Watters Edge Great Danes and the junior member of the team. He has mastered puppyhood and earned his CGC — no small feat for a dog whose whip of a tail is genuinely a weapon. Newman loves all species and wants nothing more than affection. When he's not poking Iggy for playtime, you can find him snoozing in the dirt, working on a bone, or napping. High hopes remain that he follows in Iggy's pawprints — and those of his beloved predecessor Bogart, who we lost in 2026 — as a therapy dog. The future is bright for this one.
Bobby Hammond
Executive Support
Bobby Hammond
Bobby Hammond ensures the CEO stays fed, exercised, and reminded that fun is non-negotiable. His approach to operational support is hands-on, low-drama, and remarkably effective. While his title says Executive Support, his real job is making sure the person running this operation is taken care of — so she can take care of everyone else. Bobby also leads Learning & Development for the canine members of the team — a role he takes seriously, pursues with patience, and approaches with the kind of good humor the job requires.
